It must be something with your system, i have played it on my sisters laptop and mine, and it works fine. Make sure that third party cookies are not blocked in your browser settings!
By the way, I got it to work on HTML (because I'm using Brave browser). But the Windows version is missing the Data folder, which is why it still does not function.
